Support for Israel

March 15, 2012

Dear Mr. President,

My name is Landon. I am a student at Parkway West Middle School, and I am writing to you today to share my thoughts about the conflict emerging with Iran. First of all, I became interested in this topic from previously consulting with my family and listening/reading articles posted on news related websites. I have heard about what Iran is trying to accomplish, and I wanted to hopefully convince you that we should support Israel much more than we have been.

As you well know, there is a huge issue occurring in Iran because they have previously been advancing in nuclear technology and are accused of threatening countries like Israel, which is one of our many allies. Iran has been reported of test firing missiles in the event of preparing for intentional wrongdoing. Israel is under enormous stress, and this could eventually lead to a crisis where hope is a distant dream. This immense pressure is horrible for a country because it gives that country harm and makes them go into somewhat of a survival situation; "kill or be killed." We need to attack Iranian Nuclear Headquarters, because if Iran gains nuclear power, we will be powerless in preventing the destructive plans.

What we need to do is to support our ally Israel the best we can. Israel should no longer have to suffer for something it had no control over. The destruction Iran wants to behold upon Israel is absolutely unnecessary and needs to have consequences. We need to supply Israel with the where – with – all to plan a sufficient attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, so they don't have to suffer through something that they had no voice in.

Thank you, Mr. President, for taking the time to listen to what I have to say and for hopefully responding to my letter. Your work is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Landon
