Dear Mr. President,
My name is Romeo. I am a student at Parkway West Middle, and I am writing you today about enhancing gun control. On the news, like CNN and FOX, we hear about people everyday dying in shootings. I believe these crimes needs to stop.
Glamour magazine published two articles with two different opinions about the prevalence of guns on college campuses. One of the authors, a girl name Amy Cowie, was very much against guns on college campuses. She stated, "My twin sister died in my arms because a guy had a rifle." This just proves guns are very dangerous. People say that they need gun because they can protect themselves. However, killing somebody will only make it worse.
I believe that gun laws need to be stricter. What if one of your daughters got shot because somebody was being too careless with a gun? How would you feel if that happened?
We need to prevent this from happening to other people. You need to make these laws stricter. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Romeo
