NASA

Dear Mr. President:

My name is Rumplestiltskin.  I am a student at Parkway West Middle School, and I am writing to you today about NASA.

I heard on the news that NASA was being shut down.  This made me very concerned because I am very interested in space-exploration.  At first, I thought this was just a rumor but then I heard it on several news stations and saw it all over the internet.

I believe that space-exploration is very important to our country's development.  Plus, we were so close to putting a permanent space station on the moon.  Also, where are we supposed to go when Earth is unfit to live on?  This could range anywhere from overpopulation and pollution to global warming or a possible "Armageddon".  I know that all this "2012" apocalypse stuff is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, but the moon leaving our orbit is a real potential apocalypse, and it's currently happening.  Plus, global warming and pollution are real issues.

Please resume NASA, even if it takes raised taxes.  I'll bet that America would be willing to pay extra to resume NASA.  Take a vote and see for yourself.

Thank you for reading this letter.  I hope you take into consideration what I have said here today concerning the re-establishing of NASA.

From,

Rumplestiltskin
